Pre- service teachers
Home Economics is offered in 2 Bachelor of Education courses.
- as a major area of study in the undergraduate Middle Schooling course
and
- as a major or minor in the Bachelor of Arts and Education (Secondary) course
In the Middle School program students will complete 4 electives plus Middle School Curriculum Methodology Home Economics and at least 2 professional experiences with a focus in the subject area.
In the BA/Bed program:
- As a minor students will complete 4 electives plus Middle School Curriculum Methodology Home Economics and professional experience with a focus in the subject area.
- As a major students will complete 6 electives plus Middle and Senior School Curriculum Methodology Home Economics and professional experience with a focus in the subject area.
