Rev Melinda Cousins

LLB (Hons) [Flinders], B Th (Hons) [ACT], Adv Dip Th (Pastoral Ministry) [ACT], MA (Th) [ACT]

One of the most recent additions to the Tabor MTC Faculty, Melinda joined us in January 2012, having previously taught Old Testament at Bible College SA and Burleigh College.

Melinda teaches in Biblical Studies, including leading Tabor’s first Study Tour to Israel in 2012. She also has a heart for engaging churches in cross cultural mission and to that end currently works as State Director for Global Interaction.

Melinda’s two great passions are God’s Word and God’s world – particularly, hearing how God has spoken and continues to speak to us; and seeing people respond by worshiping Jesus in their own unique cultural contexts.  She loves to travel any chance she gets and is hoping to continue adding to her current tally of 38 countries visited.

Matthew Gray

Dip PWE [Chisholm], B.Comm [Monash], M.Div [ACT], Th M [Regent College, Canada]

Matt is one of Adelaide’s main thinkers on integrating Christian history into contemporary life.1 He has a wide grasp of the Christian story, and seeks to apply it to the individual Christian’s discipleship, and to the mission of the Church as a whole. In his teaching, he has a reputation for passion, humour, relevance and practicality. He is currently doing a PhD in history with Adelaide University; is a senior member of the missional Christian community of Glen Osmond Baptist; and regularly writes for an apologetics magazine online.

Matt is married to Leanne, and has one daughter. He is also a passionate supporter of St Kilda in the AFL, and is a bit of a “nerd”, advocating for the Linux operating system, Ubuntu.

1 (I figure it’s not hard to be one of “Adelaide’s main thinkers” on that... hardly anybody is probably thinking about that...)
